Our Activities
BRACHA is the leading organisation in Israel for providing support and current scientific knowledge on hereditary cancer due to a mutation in the two BRCA genes.
Our vision is to reduce measurably the number of young women who are diagnosed and who pass away from hereditary breast or ovarian cancer as well as reducing all diagnoses from BRCA cancers.
To accomplish this we aim to raise awareness of the benefit of genetic testing to all citizens of Israel, support those who choose to undergo risk reducing operations and surveillance, increase the knowledge of the benefits of genetic testing for those already diagnosed, encourage personalized medicine and support research and development into new methods that will prevent and cure hereditary cancers.
